16 Complete Level 2 HSK® Test

Level 2 corresponds to an elementary level (level A2 of the CECRL).

Listening

The HSK is a language exam used to certify your level of Mandarin. Level 2 of the HSK evaluates your ability to use everyday Chinese.

You need to earn at least 120 points out of 200 to obtain your HSK 2 certificate.

The structure of the Listening section is as follows:

- 4 exercises with 35 questions

- 25 minutes to respond to the questions, then 3 minutes to select the responses on your answer sheet

- each audio extract is played 2 times

Reading

The HSK is a language exam used to certify your level of Mandarin. Level 2 of the HSK evaluates your ability to use everyday Chinese.

You need to earn at least 120 points out of 200 to obtain your HSK 2 certificate.

The structure of the Reading section is as follows:

- 4 exercises with 25 questions

- 22 minutes to respond to the questions (you will write your responses directly on the answer sheet)

- each sentence is written in Chinese characters and in pinyin
